Want more details?  We would love to be able to give you lots of information about our mission assignment - exactly where we're going, the people we're working with, etc.  But Pioneer Bible Translators has missionaries in several areas of the world that are not receptive to Christianity. In fact they're quite hostile to it. Those people are literally risking their lives to offer the Word of God to people who have not been given the opportunity to hear it.

You can see that it would not be in their best interest to broadcast their exact location or schedule, so PBT has a ministry-wide policy asking that all of us adhere to the same safety standards. The country that we're going to is relatively safe (aside from the malaria and dirty water) and politically stable. We are fortunate. So, if you're a detail person don't worry, I'll be very descriptive when it comes to life in Africa. Deal?
