Flat Ben has a Crush PDF Print

While we were in Nashville the boys got to spend the night with their cousins (a family of 3 girls).  The girls introduced us to "Rock Star" - a video game that's played as a group.  One person plays an electric guitar, one plays the bass, one plays the drums, and one sings.  The whole family was rockin' and Ben eventually joined in a duet with lead singer Cameron (who can really wail!).  It wasn't long before Ben had a permanent smile on his face.  We could all tell he was having a good time.

The next day we made our way to Sevierville, which is at the foot of the Smoky Mountains.   At the Sugarland Visitors Center we met a very nice park ranger who gave us some advice about where to hike.  Guess where we
ended up?  On the Appalachian Trail!  The Appalachian National Scenic Trail, generally known as the Appalachian Trail or simply The A.T., is a marked hiking trail in the eastern United States, extending between Springer Mountain in Georgia and Mount Katahdin in Maine.  It is more than 2,000 miles long.  We hiked the ridge of the Smoky Mountains at about 5000 feet along the border of Tennessee and North Carolina for about 2 hours.  It was awesome!  Ben was having a good time, but he got tired quickly.  He eventually bummed a ride from one of the boys and talked about Cameron until the end of the trail.
