Already working on that, Jesterdog. We found an e-store that will take care of printing, shipping and returns. We'll add them to our D2E store as soon as we can agree on the logo.
Know anyone who might want to donate logo design services? Our design skills are rather limited. We've been working on this logo thing for a while with nothing to show for it but a full trash can. ARGGGG!

Don't get too fancy. Y'all ain't rock stars yet

I'm no good at that stuff either...

There's gotta be some graphic design share ware on the net somewhere. Maybe if you find some, you could use some of their canned stuff?

Found some shareware and we're still working on that logo.
I know, I know...I'm not a rock star, but I'd really like a rock star logo. Something that would look really good on the one sweatshirt that I'll be able to bring along with me That way I won't get sick of it.

I don't know if this would meet your needs, as you seem to have plans. But Don't forget workamping. This is where either one or both parents put in 16-25 hours/week for free site and hookup. Extra time worked each week is normally paid at some low amount.

My wife and I are considering this. We too are in Memphis and are planning on selling our home and purchasing an RV and hitting the road with our homeschooled family (3 boys ages 8-11, and a girl 6). But we're not in a hurry to travel the country and quit - we're considering a 5 year plan. So it would fit us to stay a month or three in one spot and then move on.

Also, don't forget contract work as a web designer.

God bless and may the wind be at your back!
Walter

Walter,
I love the idea of workamping and would like to be able to do it, but we are moving from place to place so quickly that I don't think it's an option for us. A 2 week stay is a long one for us, but I do know of many families who do exactly what you're suggesting. Campground fees are higher than we expected - often about $30/night and in major metropolitan areas up to $60/night! That makes workamping really attractive!

How about sometimes parking in other homeschoolers driveways rather than staying at a campground? It would reduce your overnight cost plus you might get to meet some interesting families.
