We need to make reservations in ABQ for Balloon Fest. Anyone know of a good place to stay?

Hi-We live in ABQ. Have you gone to the Balloon Fiesta website? There is RV parking at the fiesta (dry camp). On the west side of town off of I-40 (west of Unser)there is American RV and another one (I don't recall the name but can find out for you) that my Dad stays at. Have you found a place yet? The RV parks are always full for Balloon Fiesta so make your reservations ASAP. Hope this helps. Please let me know if you need any help. We would love to meet you all when you are here in ABQ. We are hoping to do the same thing in 5 years. You all are our inspiration!

I got our reservation! We'll be at American RV. I think we're only in ABQ for about 5 days (don't have my itinerary in front of me), but it would be great to meet you and your family. I am surprised at how many people are planning trips like this or have mentioned that they would like to do this but haven't figured out how yet. I hope we can be a resource for people who are planning. It took me a long time to gather the information that I have, and I'm still working on it.
I will definitely be looking for guidance when we get to ABQ, and in the meantime, if I can help you or just encourage you while you dream, let me know.
